If I just needed a Mug Press then I probably would’ve waited until the price of the Mug Press came down a little before purchasing, but I also needed a larger heat press for my new sublimation printer, and a regular clamshell heat press (or combo) was too large for my crafting room, which also doubles as an office and guest room. Unable to adjust time and temperature settings for any other materials like sublimation, HTV, etc.
Only fits a mug diameter 3.2″-3.4″ and a max height of 4.72″, unable to adjust or change for different sized or shaped mugs, tumblers, or cups.
Cannot buy other attachments for other sublimation products like a hat or plate press

Summary

I am definitely happy with my purchase for the cost. I’ve already made Cricut Infusible Ink mugs with this combo cheapest mug press plus heat press and it came out beautifully. If I already had all the sizes of heat presses I needed/wanted and I only needed a mug press then I would’ve bought the Cricut Mug Press alone, after waiting until the price came down a bit.
