The summer is officially over. Very sad how time continues to speed up. It’s amazing how quickly it passed by and there was some major minimalist crafting that occurred without any corresponding posts. This article is an overview of all the summer easy Cricut Crafts, gifts, and other projects that were made without corresponding articles and posts because of the lack of time in my days and weeks over the summer. I need your help to let me know in the comments, or through Instagram, Facebook, or other social media which projects you want me to go over in more step by step detail. Iron On
Iron On material is also known as Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) and is my absolute favorite Cricut cutting material. The best part about Iron On is that the sticky “transfer tape” is already attached, lessening the chance for messing up during the transfer process. Buy materials on sale or in bulk, which will save a ton of money. Pictures are of some easy and quick Iron-on projects that were cut out with the Cricut and ironed on with the Cricut Easy Press.

Cardstock
For scrapbookers, card makers, and crafters cardstock is an essential cutting material. The possibilities and colors are endless. This summer paper flowers made for the first time turned out pretty well. Specifically 150 rolled flowers were cut for a wedding and little butterfly candy boxes were made for a bridal shower. Cardstock is a little more time-consuming because it requires more assembly after cutting. The results of finished cardstock products are worth the extra effort.

Adhesive vinyl produces amazing and beautiful crafts. This material can be very labor intensive if the designs are intricate with the weeding (removing unwanted cut material from the design) process. Adhesive vinyl comes in a wide variety of colors, styles, and finishes for endless possibilities.
